They just keep getting better and better. Vi and Penelope sure know how to deliver a great book! They get to talking and they have a great night together! Owens thinks he will never seen Devyn again until he knocks on one of the doors of the apartment complex he jointly owns with all of his friends and guess who is standing there… Devyn. The relationship between Owen and Devyn is great, and seeing them grow and go through so many obstacles and overcome so many different things that was going on in their lives really made you feel like you knew the characters. The big twist really kept me on my toes and I needed to know how this was going to end. And thankfully Vi one night dating Penelope really pulled everything together at the end. Loved this book and this series!! Say it with me now…communication! He goaded her into jealousy. I understood why she saw crying as a weakness. They say the word lol, not L O L. Why is that weird to me? Not my favorite by these two, but still good. This series is fantastic! I absolutely love all the characters, but I think I might love Owen and Devyn the most. Devyn's life has been pretty difficult and continues to be very complicated. Owen is so consistently thoughtful and sweet. I wish we would have gotten to know a little bit more about him in this book, but the focus was, understandably, a lot on Devyn's situation. Spoiler The way the "love triangle" was written made it clear that she was not cheating and tied the state of her romantic relationships so clearly to her childhood trauma. Despite the challenges she experienced, and because of them, she is able to be there for her siblings in the way no one was for her. The pregnancy triangle was so well-written. It was a situation where any of the possible outcomes seemed plausible and there were pros and cons that would make a variety of decisions plausible for Devyn. This was not unnecessarily dramatic, rather it was very thoughtfully explored. Owen was amazing through all of that and even Robert seemed to find his footing. The eventual outcome was what I had hoped for, but I truly wasn't sure how it was going to unfold. Very well done. I was a little sad that they weren't all going to be living in the building anymore, but one night dating their own house made sense for their family structure. Looking forward to seeing who Brayden was kissing up against the wall!
